Mombasa to the north, with its ancient marshmallow-pink-walled battlemented Fort Jesus and its treasure trove old town, is an hour's drive away.Easier still is Diani Beach, a resort town, which offers a plethora of eating, drinking, partying and people watching opportunities, where you can browse boutiques, arrange to play golf or tennis or go scuba diving or windsurfing, kite surfing, casinos, or just party the night away in world class night clubs and discotheques.

You can drive up into the Shimba Hills for a late evening game drive and sundowners.

Or watch the gentle meandering of elephants in nearby Mwaluganje. An hour south, at Shimoni, you can go deep sea fishing, don a mask and snorkel and witness the underwater world at Kisite and then feast on crab at lunchtime.

Or you could stay put: swim, read a book or dash to the beach.

At Spice of the Coast, our job is to plan it detail by detail and ensure you get the maximum value from your short or long Safari. Kenya is a Beautiful country; its game parks are packed with natural untamed wild life and breathtaking scenery. Its people are warm and welcoming and everywhere you go there will be something that will touch your heart.
